About Music for Life for Young Children (MLYC)

Music for Life for Young Children started in 1988, developed by Geiza Dourado at the Golden School of Music. MLYC is a program designed for children to discover and explore music as a mother language. As we all know, music is an important activity and it makes a dramatic influence in shaping the lives of our young children.

The curriculum is carefully designed for children from birth and up, teacher and parent to have a warm musical attachment, to interact, to make music fun, creative and enjoyable. It also prepares parents musically to be able to make music at home with their children.

MLYC is committed to helping families, music teachers, care givers, early childhood teachers, and children with special needs through music therapy.

Music for Life for Young Children introduces a modern approach to learning music.
